Overview

NMCOG provides support and assistance to communities in the area of energy and environmental planning. Our goal is to increase the capacity of municipalities to deal with new and emerging energy and environmental issues by fostering regional cooperation and coordination and reducing costs for municipalities. We are currently undertaking a diverse set of projects ranging from renewable energy siting to stormwater management to urban agriculture.
